Salvation Army Kettle Campaign Launch

  • On behalf of the Town of Kindersley, Council and Administration I want to thank the Salvation Army for their work in Kindersley to help the less fortunate in Kindersley.
  • Salvation Army is an international Christmas organization that began its work in Canada in 1882.
  • It has grown to become the largest non-governmental direct provider of social services in the country.
  • Established in 400 communities across Canada and more than 120 countries
  • All funds from the Kettle Campaign will remain in Kindersley and will be used to provide assistance to those who need it.
  • This year is the 125th year of the Kettle campaign

  • Thank you for your assistance providing food and shelter for people in need and rehabilitation for people with addictions
  • Thank you for partnering with other community groups to provide Christmas Hampers.
  • Thank you for the for the work of the family services office and the food you provide to the schools on an ongoing basis
  • Thank you for your summer day camp programming and for sending some children to summer camps
  • The Town of Kindersley is grateful for all the ways in which The Salvation Army, its staff and volunteers, are contributing to making life better for residents of Kindersley and surrounding region.
  • I hope the day is coming when we don’t need the Kettle Campaign or the other services the Salvation Army provides, but until then keep up the good work
